Irfan Basar's love of yachts was started in childhood while making wooden yachts models with his father during summer breaks. He was graduated from Fevziye Mektepleri Vakfı Isık Lisesi. He received a Bachelor of Naval Architect and Marine Engineer degree from Istanbul Technical University. He worked for RMK shipyard respectively as Project Engineer, Project Manager and then Production Manager. Then he joined CMB Shipyard located in Antalya and was in charge as Production Manager. Lately he started as Business Development Manager and became General Manager of Mengiyay Yachts. After 20+ years of experience at the sector, in 2022, he started his own business and founded B&I Yachts which aims to address the design and production of high end yachts across the world.

Yasin Ocak is an alumnus of Cengizhan Anatolian High School and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gümüşhane University. He began his professional career as a project engineer in 2021, specializing in the yacht building industry. Yasin Ocak has been involved in all stages of new build and refit projects, from contract negotiation to delivery

She graduated from Saint Benoit French High School. She received a Master of Architecture and Restoration from Istanbul Technical University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Istanbul Technical University. She worked in Russia and in UAE as Design Coordirnator and Project Manager in various large-scale projects. She turned back to Turkey in 2013 and was in charge as Project Coordinator of The Marmara Hotels Renovation Project with 388 keys. 

After 20+ years of experience at the sector, in 2022 she joined B&I Yachts
